Dr. Mark Larkins
Medical Director & Founder

After completing his undergraduate studies in biochemistry at the University of Nevada, Reno, Dr. Larkins pursued his medical training at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, earning his medical degree. He went on to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he completed his Internal Medicine internship in 2003. He went on to complete a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, graduating in 2006, followed by a Pain Management fellowship in 2007. From 2007 to 2008, he served as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Florida, where he had the privilege of teaching residents in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management.

In 2009, Dr. Larkins and his wife, whom he met during his training at the University of Florida, moved to the Pensacola and Gulf Breeze area, where they have proudly built both their family and careers. As a founder of Gulf Coast Pain Institute, which later became Clearway Pain Solutions, Dr. Larkins helped establish what is now the nation's largest pain management group. For 17 years, he dedicated his practice to improving patients’ lives through comprehensive pain management.

While his career has been defined by medical excellence, Dr. Larkins finds his greatest fulfillment as a husband and father. Over the past three years, he has embraced time with his family while also deepening his interest in wellness, athletics, and the holistic restoration of body, mind, and spirit.

These passions inspired Dr. Larkins and his wife to create The Lark Aesthetics and IV Boutique in the heart of Gulf Breeze, Florida. As Medical Director, his mission is to bring the same level of expertise, compassion, and dedication to the spa that he has shown throughout his medical career, helping clients look, feel, and live their best.

Christy Larkins, PA-C
Clinical Director & Founder

Christy Larkins, PA-C, is a longtime resident of Santa Rosa County and Co-Founder and Clinical Director of The Lark Aesthetics & IV Boutique. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Florida, graduating cum laude, and went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

After meeting her husband, Dr. Mark Larkins, in Gainesville, the couple relocated to the Pensacola area, where Christy began her professional career specializing in the field of general dermatology. With nearly two decades of clinical experience, she has developed extensive expertise in medical dermatology and a refined focus in cosmetic and aesthetic medicine, combining clinical precision with an artistic, patient-centered approach.

Christy is deeply committed to her community and professional leadership. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Capital Trust Authority in Gulf Breeze and as a Trustee for Echo Life Church in Pensacola. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates, and she is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Above all, Christy considers her most meaningful role to be that of a mother to her four children. Inspired by both her family and her medical background, she envisioned The Lark as a place where aesthetic and wellness care is delivered with intention, integrity, and compassion. Guided by her faith and the belief that each individual is “fearfully and wonderfully created,” Christy is dedicated to providing personalized care grounded in science, safety, and genuine connection.

Together with her husband, Christy is proud to bring The Lark Aesthetics & IV Boutique to the community they call home and where they are raising their family.
